Summary

Forty three 3rd and 4th century Roman coins were found in the garden of Briardene. A blob of glass waste and an unidentified marble cylinder were also recovered.

Summer 1989. Found while gardening.
Thirty three Roman coins (unidentified, Victorinus, Arcadius?, House of Constantine, Valentinian II, Helena, House of Valentinian, Constantius II and Constantine I).
All but two are 3rd to 4th century A.D.

Blob of clear glass waste?
Marble cylinder, diameter 29 mm, length 65 mm, with T inscribed at one end, and crude lozenge pattern on side.
