Before 13 June 2002. Fieldwalking.
In lower part of field. Various prehistoric flints including axe/adze of Mesolithic or (more probably) Early Neolithic date. The remainder of the assemblage was probably Neolithic, including two scrapers, a retouched flake fragment and two retouched blade-like flakes. See file for descriptions by P. Robins (NCM).

Over forty prehistoric flints including a retouched blade and a blade-like flake of Mesolithic or possibly late Upper Palaeolithic date and two Mesolithic cores. The other pieces are of Neolithic or Bronze Age date, including four single platform flake cores, a possible multi-platform core fragment, thirteen scrapers (two Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age), nine borers, four retouched flakes, five unmodified flakes, three natural fragments and a hammerstone.

Early Neolithic and undatable prehistoric worked flints were also found.

June/July 2003. Fieldwalking.
Over three hundred worked flints including a chopper, a hammerstone, fifteen scrapers, four borers, 30 retouched pieces, 34 cores and more than 170 flakes. Apart from a possible unfinished Neolithic arrowhead, these pieces were not closely datable (or at least no dates have been suggested).

Two hundred and fifty-six worked flints including a possible Early Neolithic unfinished laurel leaf and three scrapers of possible Late Neolithic date. The remaining pieces are less diagnostic, including sixteen scrapers, six borers, 41 retouched pieces, 21 cores and 144 flakes.
