The north gable-end is the earliest phase of the building and dates from the 17th century. It has since been underpinned. The west elevation is constructed of reused brick and may be a rebuild of the original collapsed west wall. It is likely to date from the 17th century. The south gable-end is a late 18th century rebuild and includes single pilasters on the elevations. The east elevation dates from the mid- 18th century and is constructed of chequered brickwork of blackened headers. There is a two-course platband and an off-centre boarded door. The roof is of two parts, the north half dating from the 17th century with clasped purlins and wind bracing and the south part dating from the 18th century with straight bracing, collars and independent ties. An internal corridor and transverse wall have been removed without listed building consent.
