November 1989. Surface finds. Stubble, conditions very poor.
Prehistoric, two flint flakes, 118 pot boilers.
Iron Age, 24 flint gritted sherds.
Roman, 10 grey/reduced sherds.
Middle Saxon, one pimply Ipswich sherd.
Medieval/Post medieval pottery, 94 medieval unglazed, 5 medieval glazed (3 Grimston), 8 Late Medieval/ Transitional, one medieval? stoneware (Langerwehe?), one glazed red earthenware, one post medieval stoneware.
Undated, glass fragment, lead object, oyster shell.
