Part of an iron knife, with a cast copper alloy handle depicting two lovers, found by metal detecting. The knife is probably Dutch, and dates from the late 17th century.

December 1989. Found with metal detecting.
Fragment of blade of iron knife with cast copper alloy handle in form of pair of lovers.
Probably Dutch. Last quarter of 17th century.
