Summary
In around 1952 a Bronze Age stone axe hammer was found during ploughing between Southery village and the River Ouse. The exact location and circumstances of its discovery are not known.

Around 1952. Found in ploughing field between Southery village and Brandon Creek (River Ouse): exact site not recorded.
Axe-hammer, stone.
Petrology: N.104. Group XVIII.
Held by NCM, given by Sheffield Museum.
