Full Description
14 October 1989. Metal detector rally practice site. Includes a number of other NHER sites [1].
Prehistoric flint scraper.
Two Roman coins (barbarous radiate and Constantine I) see form in file.
Early Saxon and Middle Saxon or Late Saxon brooch fragments.
Medieval silver coins, bronze strap end, bronze falcon bell.
Post medieval silver coins, copper tokens and assorted post medieval metal artefacts.

March 1990. Metal detector rally site.
Report of two Iron Age coins found. One seen by Suffolk Unit, and identified as Mack 438 (Bury tribe). Local sources suggest that these coins may not be from this site.

February/March 2006. metal-detecting.
1 Early Saxon great square-headed brooch fragment.
1 undatable silver ?belt loop and large lump of copper alloy casting waste.
Identified by S. Ashley (NLA). See list in file.
The silver loop was initially recorded as being Early or Middle Saxon in date. However when submitted as potential Treasure it was deemed to be an undiagnostic, undatable object (and therefore not Treasure) - see report (S1) and relevant entry in (S2).
