Full Description
20 May 1989. Fieldwalking.
Field, now amalgamated with that to east. South of Creeting Gate Plantation.
Partially weathered surface, young beet; but sunny and very windy. 30m transects. Marked soil change shows edge of former common at north end of field.
Ten flint flakes, one scraper. One body sherd glazed red earthenware, one base glazed Grimston (both in southwest
quadrant).
