Full Description
February 1990. On ploughed surface amongst mass of rubble from demolished buildings.
Largish bodysherd reduced hard sandy, probably Grimston Thetford and possibly Roman coarse.
Local people told [1] that much 'Saxon pottery' lay on the surface here.
The large sample brought to NAU by [1] was all reduced pantile except this sherd.
A. Rogerson (NAU) 23 February 1990.
