Summary

An excavation and watching brief on this site during road construction work in 1989 recovered a small number of medieval objects, and the possible remains of a post medieval building.

Context 1 at TF 6772 3377. Concentration of brick rubble 6m x 5m. One sherd post medieval pottery associated.

Context 3 at TF 6778 3387. Rectangular area of sand 12 x 4m.
Context 4 at TF 6778 3387. Unstratified finds: medieval, undated pottery, low countries jetton.
