Gilt copper alloy elaborate D shaped buckle with moulded animal head tongue rest. Buckle plate is lobed semicircular
with three animal headed rivets, each lobe divided from next by hatched band; hatched semicircular motif in centre where plate is cut away for (now missing) tongue. 13th century.

Survey of proposed route of Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm onshore cable (Field 61).
No finds of archaeological interest were recovered at this location.
