Summary

Prehistoric flints and potboilers, Roman coins and pottery, a Roman brooch decorated with enamel, a Middle Saxon strap fitting, medieval pottery and buckle and post medieval pottery, found by metal detecting.

Roman enamelled disc brooch fragment; conical centre, 12 radial cells, alternate blue and unidentified, scalloped, 2nd century, see (S2).
Six Roman coins corroded together, ?4th century hoard?

August 1990. Found with metal detecting. Mainly along east side of field.

Roman bronze brooch catchplate and bronze knob or terminal.
Scatter of Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval sherds, all very small and abraded. One Samian base sherd.
A few Roman tile fragments, oysters, flint flakes and potboilers.
