Summary

The approximate site where part of a wooden vessel was washed up in 1990. Although a visit was made to examine the remains, the sea had washed them away again.

September 1990. Approximate findspot of wreck washed up.
Visited 20 September 1990 but washed away again.
Workmen repairing coastal defences stated it to have been a close ribbed bow or possibly stern section, having tree nails held by central pegs. Not eroded from beach but washed in from offshore.
