Summary

Metal detecting recovered a Roman bronze loop with possible animal-head mouldings and a 2nd century AD enamelled lozenge plate brooch plate.

Map

November to December 1990. Metal detecting finds. On arable of fruit farm.
Circular sectioned bronze loop with ?animal-head mouldings on either side of thinner section of loop, opposite integral hollow ?sphere. Similar to late Roman baubles. To be photographed.
Enamelled lozenge plate brooch plate. Pin, catchplate and part of plate missing. Small centre dot black; then plain circle, then orange circle, orange at points of lozenge. Border groove. 2nd century.
