Summary

In 1950 a Late Bronze copper alloy spearhead was found at this location. It socket contains the remains of a wooden shaft made of bird cherry.

Found "about 400' [365m] north of Ash Holt Plantation":
1 Late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed spearhead with lunate openings in wings, rivet holes.

Remains of wooden haft in socket identified as probably bird cherry at Kew, 23 June 1950.
Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1950.137).
