Summary

A large 15th and 16th century two storey rendered timber framed house with later alterations, now a pub, with some exposed timbers, a knapped flint east front, a pantile roof and four chimney stacks. Inside, the central range has a first floor corridor that may be original, and if so is probably the earliest example known in a private house in the city.
