Full Description
1957. City Engineer's operations in back yard revealed part of City Wall at depth of 6 to 9 inches (15 to 23cm).
Edge of wall of flint and mortar was about 7 foot (2.1m) from back wall of house, which lay over rest of wall.
Observed by D. R. Howlett (NCM), 23 November 1957.
