Summary

An outwardly unpreposessing three storey house, now an office, with a 20th century shop front. However, under the pavement is a 15th century brick undercroft with wall arches and a side chamber. A watching brief during works to the rear of the building in 2001 noted a collapsed post medieval well and undated pits.

Former use unknown, now office with 15th century undercroft. Red brick, roof not visible, three storeys, two bays.
Undercroft: two bays each with single-order diagonal ribs. There is a relatively long end-chamber that extends beneath the pavement. Along the length of the undercroft there is an arcade that has short transverse ribs.
Two arches separate this arcade from the main body of the undercroft.
It is positioned at right-angles to the street line.
