Summary

No 2 is a long two storeyed block set parallel to, and away from, the street. The building itself was constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries, although the wall facing the street was refaced in the 19th century, and the gable rebuilt in the 20th century. The rear wall is constructed in flint rubble and contains 16th and 17th century windows (some blocked). The south wall is thought to date to around 1935, and there is evidence of some pre-1630 construction work on this building.
