Summary

No 79 is a 17th century building with one room each side of a central chimney stack. The first floor is timber framed on the street side, and there is a full height flint rubble rear wall. The building was refaced in brick in the 18th century and heightened to three floors.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"No 79 King Street.
Former house now office and flats. 17th century refronted in the 18th century. 20th century renovation. Three storeys; five bays. Central door with semi-circular arch and fanlight and attached Doric columns supporting open pediment. Shopfront to the left with two left-side doors and deep fascia."
