Summary

An evaluation excavation in 1994 revealed a possible buried soil layer and probable flood deposits dating to the late medieval and post medieval periods. Medieval and later walls were also found. The large number of of horn cores recovered suggest horn processing on an industrial scale.

Residual sherd of Samian, and one Thetford ware.
Medieval walls and floors and considerable evidence of horn working.
Post-medieval building remains and pottery.

The finds recovered have been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1995.62).
