Full Description
Before 1920.
Three socketed axes; one 104mm long, one 80mm, one 97mm.

Socketed axe with double mouth moulding now in British Museum (Prehistoric and Romano British) reg P1976 7-1
11 from the Casper Fleming Collection from the W. C. Wells Collection from Swaffham is presumably the same as one of the above. Length given as 102mm, presumably same as 104mm above.

These are possibly the same as the three axes found near Swaffham in 1849 (Dawson-Turner Add MSS 23,060 f207 - see NHER 2662.
