Summary

At some time around 1810 a medieval ceramic tripod was found on Thetford Warren. It was yellow in colour and was perhaps used as a stand for pottery tumblers.

Around 1810.
'A year or two ago a tripod was found on Thetford Warren by some warreners. It was made of yellow pottery, and was perhaps used as a stand for pottery tumblers, like similar articles found in villages of the bronze age in the Swiss Lakes.'
