Summary

Aerial photography from 1977 recorded cropmarks of rectangular enclosures predating the current field systems. Further photography from 1996 also recorded these features, as well as some linear features which appear fairly modern and are most probably drains connected to the current fields, etc. Further enclosures were also noted, as well as circular marks which most probably relate to stack stands (Riley circles), with a broadly medieval date.
