Full Description
c.1968-70. Casual Find. South of road (not north as in (S1)).
A Medieval sherd scatter was identified..
P. Wade-Martins (NAU), 1970.
1991. Metal detecting.
A cut short-cross farthing was recovered - I.D. finder.
A. Rogerson (NLA), 22 October 1991.
Early January 1998. Plot to south-west of site, centred at [1].
The plot was visited after clearance in preparation for building work, i.e. scraping off vegetation and bushes etc. Weathered bare soil covered the site and no finds apart from recent items were identified, but disturbance was noted below a few centimetres.
