Summary

An assortment of medieval finds were uncovered at this property. Finds of note include the base of a green-glazed Grimston Ware vessel, a 13th century belt stiffener and 14th century belt strap end.

1990. Found in garden.
Early medieval cooking pot rim sherd and bowl rim sherd, and green glazed Grimston base sherd.
Identified by W. Milligan (NCM).

1993. Metal detecting.
13th century belt-stiffener.
14th century strap end, three plates and cast terminal indented decoration on both sides of plates.
Medieval buckle plate and pin (frame missing), three rivets with large hermispherical heads.
