Summary

Metal detecting here in 1989 recovered a Roman lead steelyard weight and a 15th century bronze purse frame fragment decorated with niello in zigzag cross hatching.

Roman lead steelyard weight, compare others from Crownthorpe temple site NHER 8897. 160.6g weight.
Medieval 15th century bronze purse frame fragment with integral holes (part of pendant frame) with niello in zigzag cross hatching.
