Summary

Metal detecting in this area between 1991 and 2018 recovered undated, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds, Roman and medieval coins; aswell as Roman, Early Saxon and Middle Saxon metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman unidentified object; an Early Saxon unidentified object and a sleeve clasp; an Early/Middle Saxon mounts; Middle Saxon brooches; and a medieval seal matrix and unidenfitified object.
