Summary

Extensive metal-detecting between 1990 and 1993 and again in 2014 recovered a Late Iron Age coin and a number of other metal objects, including a probably Late Bronze Age copper alloy ring; numerous Roman brooches and a medieval/post-medieval buckle.

Roman rear hook brooch; spring and pin missing. Mid to late 1st century AD.

Five Roman brooches: one Colchester type two piece, three Dolphin type with spring one disc with yellow enamel.
