Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking in this area during 1991 recovered a variety of objects including a Neolithic flint, Roman brooch, medieval coins and buckle and Late Saxon pottery sherds. Analysis of aerial photographs taken in 1946 also showed an area of possible medieval ridge and furrow here.
