Summary

A 2nd or 3rd century Roman military rectangular cast copper alloy mount fragment with a low relief running lead scroll pattern on a blue and red enamel ground was possibly found in the parish by metal detecting.

Uncertain provenance. Could be from Kessingland, Suffolk.
Rectangular cast copper alloy mount fragment with discoidal terminal with central rivet. Body of mount has narrow field between toothed borders. In the field is a low relief running lead scroll pattern on a blue and red enamel ground. 2nd/3rd century Roman military.
