Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1991 recovered a medieval gilt-bronze harness stud. This stud was decorated with a cross-shaped motif and punched annulets in between the arms of a cross.

Gilt-bronze harness stud, dome-headed, decorated with cross-shaped motif and punched annulets in between arms of cross. Iron loop in lug. 15th century. Worn, corroded.
