Summary

Originally one building, reputedly with a core of 1487, this presently appears to be 16th century with later alterations. It is faced in brown brick, two storeys high with attics and has three gables, the central one of which is over a former porch. Two modern shop frontages have been inserted.

Moulded brick string course at upper floor level. Brick pediments over windows. Two modern shop frontages inserted.
On interior, mullioned window revealed and displayed.

Revised listing (S1) calls Bishop's Terrace (1993). Same external description but dates only to 16th century. States no features of interest inside, so what happened to the mullioned window?
