1940. Stray Find.
Found at Potter's Fen when digging boiler for greenhouses at depth of 7 feet [2.1m] from surface in red clay with peat and humus above (Gault and white sand under red clay):
Late Bronze Age copper alloy spearhead. 5.25 inches [13cm] long, 1.375 inches [3.5cm] wide.
This object is noted in (S2), which reports a claim it was actually found in 1912, "...12' [3.66m] down in white sand.." [1].
Seen by R. R. Clarke in 1949, when in the possession of [2].
