Full Description
1991. Found in fieldwalking (two visits). Finder's site M32.
Iron Age, Middle Saxon, medieval, post medieval sherds.
See lists and (S1) in file for full details.
Information from [1].
Identified by A. Rogerson (NLA).
E. Rose (NLA), October 1991.
(S2) describes as evidence for Middle Saxon and post medieval activity. Some stonewares were found. A Middle Saxon settlement seems likely despite the small number of finds. The small quantity of medieval finds mirrors a declining settlement.
M. Dennis (NLA), 12 April 2006.
