Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking at this location between 1991 and 2019 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undated lead weight; a Roman brooch; Early Saxon brooch fragments; a Middle/Late Saxon disc brooch; a Late Saxon lead brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a post-medieval silver button); a medieval book or furniture fitting, casket key, folding balance arm and monumental brass fragment; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval sword-belt fitting, toy cannon and lead weights.

1 Early Saxon brooch fragment (cruciform).
2 medieval coins, 1 book or furniture fitting (applique male figure ?saint, see (S2)), 1 buckle plate, 1 composite buckle fragment, 2 strap ends (1 tinned and unusual, 1 from a ?book clasp), 1 strap loop and 1 casket key.
1 medieval/post-medieval paper-clip rivet and 1 vessel leg fragment.
1 post-medieval coin, 1 token, 1 buckle frame fragment, 1 large toy cannon and 2 lead weights (1; 3oz, 1; 15pennyweights).
1 undatable lead weight.

3 post-medieval coins, 2 tokens, 1 jetton, 1 sword belt hanger pendant leaf, 1 tinned buckel frame and 1 button.
1 undated unidentified object fragment (?belt mount).
