Summary
A causeway at West Hall Farm is thought to have been built in the medieval period to dam the river and create the Reeddam, an area used to cultivate and harvest reeds.

Full Description
Causeway at West Hall Farm.
Suggested in excavation report 1991 for NHER 1079 (see that file) as a medieval causeway built to dam river, near site of ford of Icknield Way.
