Summary

Metal detecting at this location in 1991 recovered a pair of Middle/Late Saxon copper alloy tweezers. These were decorated with ring-and-dot stamps on both the front and back.

Copper alloy tweezers with expanded arms, and a single-contoured border. Probably 9th century. Decorated on one face with seven ring-and-dot stamps forming a cross, on the other with five ring-and-dots
