Full Description
September 1991. Metal-detecting find. Found in area of 'green' where pond being created.
Colchester type brooch, part of spring, pin, and perforated catchplate missing. Forward hook. Small wings. Mid 1st century AD.

Record expanded from a point to a polygon covering the entire area of the 'green.' Is it likely that the 1991 finds were recovered from the area of the pond and the subsequent finds were recovered from the surrounding area.
