The spa located here was founded sometime before 1699. The stone basin and tank that were part of the spa were re-exposed in 1991.

Chalybeate spring (spa).
Stated by member of the public [1] to have been founded as spa in 1742. Stone basin and tank re-exposed in 1991. Informant also states adjacent cottages are 17th century, but they are not listed buildings and this needs confirmation.
