Summary

Metal-detecting in 1991 and 2015 recovered Roman and medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Middle Bronze Age palstave; a Roman cosmetic mortar, brooch; a potentially Roman mount; an Early Saxon brooch fragment; a medieval/post-medieval buckle and a post-medieval spur side.

1 Early Saxon short-long brooch fragment.
Handed to Pre-Construct Archaeology staff during trial trench evaluation undertaken in 2020 (see NHER 65203) and now part of the archive for that project (NWHCM : 2020.131) [4].
