Summary

A fragmentary Neolithic red deer antler pick and a fragment of large red deer antler with cut marks and rough incised 'V' were found. These may be confused with NHER 17531.

Pre 1981. Surface find. Former Ordnance Survey Field 496.
Fragmentary antler pick, made from large shed red deer antler with cut marks. Also a fragment of large red deer antler with cut marks and rough V perhaps deliberately cut in one end.

Information from from source [1], see (S1) and (S2), saying these are not the same object as site NHER 17531, though the grid reference given in letter (TL 6920 9210) is the centre of the new combined field made from old Ordnance Survey fields 496, 499 and adjacent. Grid reference corrected as [1] states find definitely made in field 496.
