Full Description
August 1991. Where gravel being extracted, top 3ft (0.9m) peat removed.
Overlying a compressed area of peat with much bone, pottery, tile, leather, flint, shell and wood in it.
Material down a further 12ins (30cm) to 18ins 45cm) and extended into bank.
13th/15th century deposits.
