Summary

Metal detecting in 1991 recovered an early post medieval gold ring. It was inscribed with 'MY HARTE YOU HAVE' on the outside and 'AND YOURS I CRAVE' on the inside.

Early post medieval gold ring, probably 16th century. Inscribed outside (cast, relief): 'MY HARTE YOU HAVE' with a cross on a square at start of inscription, and inside (engraved) 'AND YOURS I CRAVE'.
