Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking in this area has recovered a small number of Roman coins and pottery sherds, and some prehistoric worked flints, as well as a large number of medieval pottery sherds and metal objects in an area of dark soil, perhaps indicating a medieval settlement or site.
