October 2007. Norfolk NMP.
It is possible that the ring ditch previously recorded at this location (see above) is non-archaeological in origin. Consultation of the aerial photographs would suggest that the feature is probably a combination of agricultural and geological cropmarks and was therefore not mapped as part of the NMP process. However given the close proximity to other more convincing ring ditches and barrows, forming part of a small Bronze Age round barrow cemetery (NHER 50639), there does remain a slight possibility that the site is real. However further aerial photograph or other archaeological evidence would be required to settle the matter.
S. Massey (NMP), 22 October 2007.
