Summary

A series of indistinct earthworks are visible on 1988 aerial photographs. When visited on the ground in 1993, these features were noted as causeways, linear banks, drainage ditches and incomplete enclosures, of probably post medieval date. Part of the site was destroyed by the excavation of fishing lakes in 1999.

Causeway, 0.4m high and up to 11m wide extends from the northeast corner of site, westsouthwest into adjacent field. One low (0.2m high) north to south bank extends north from this in the field to east.
In field to west, a flanking linear depression 9m wide and 0.3 deep is to the north of causeway. A series of shallow (0.2m) drainage ditches (brushwood) exists in this field, partly obliterated by spoil, and forming incomplete enclosures.
