October 1992-December 1993. Systematic Fieldwalking Survey.
A143 Brockdish-Needham Bypass.
Field survey on proposed route of bypass (Field 0005):
2 prehistoric flint flakes.
Post-medieval pottery sherds.

A143 Brockdish-Needham Bypass.
Observation and metal-detecting of stripped surface.
No archaeologically-significant features observed and no finds recovered.
See report (S3) for further information and NHER 31423 for details of unstratified metal objects recovered from relocated topsoil being used to form banks at unspecified locations along the bypass route. This work is also noted in (S4).
