Summary

RAF aerial photographs revealed traces of a network of enclosures. Their date is unknown. Also found on the site were a scatter of Late Saxon and medieval pottery fragments.

Enclosure earthworks on RAF air photograph. Now arable land, with indication of old bank still visible.
Pottery scatter produced:
One jar rim, Thetford form EM fabric.
One base sherd wheelturned, probably late Thetford type.
Two base sherds medieval unglazed.
Two base sherds Grimston glazed.
Identified by A.Rogerson (NLA) 17 February 1993.
