Earthworks of possible medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The central grid reference for these earthworks has been amended from TM 4010 9656 to TM 4006 9659. These ridge and furrow earthworks are located in Raveningham Park (NHER 30484) to the north of the hall. They represent part of the agricultural landscape that preceded the construction of the park in the late 18th century. The possible hollow way referred to above is not clearly visible on the available aerial photographs.
J. Albone (NMP), 03 July 2007
